The Woman

My mother is going to Italy. She will depart near the end of March for a two-year mission in Milan. I know I will miss her, but I am too excited for her to care. Her name is Donna, but in Italian Dona means "The Woman".

Yesterday I got to go shopping with the woman for clothing more suitable for her mission. Wanna know where you can get 7 suits for $168.00? Burlington.

I am thinking of finding some part-time work so we can visit her in Italy.

My mom has been through some stuff in her life. I won't list them, but believe me when I say she deserves some happy chapters to balance out the dramatic ones. I am happy that this next chapter will be set in Milan.

4 sign your pity:

I am excited for your mom as well! Italy would be amazing. And you should for sure go and visit while you have a chance! I think you tried to leave me a message. It was undecipherable and it is not your fault. My phone is lame and on it's last leg. I haven't been able to hear any of my messages lately.

Congrats and good luck to the woman. She always made me laugh and definitely deserves to spend some time in lovely Italy.

Milan won't know what hit them. I'm excited for your mom, and also excited for your whole family, because when mom's on a mission, the whole family gets blessings. And by blessings, I mostly mean that she's going to learn how to cook some awesome Italian food while she's there.
