Dear Paul Simon

Dear Paul Simon,

For years I thought that you were saying "Mama don't take my chloroform away". I realize now that it was Kodachrome.

I'm sorry.

I'm just glad I caught this before my mother in law corrected me. That would have ruined the song forever.

Yours,

Sarah H.

P.S. could you write a song about a girl named Sarah?

4 sign your pity:

I always thought it was mama don't take my coat-a-coat away until my mom corrected me. And then I never understood what a kodachrome was for a long time.

miss you lady

No worries Sarah, I think I am the worst about lyrics. I don't really even listen to the words (just the music) the first 4 times I hear a song. Most music I love I couldn't recite all the words.

Hey Sarah;
I don't know if Paul Simon can hear you but Starship wrote you a song in the 80s. Here is a YouTube link to the song and a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqRTtkEHrA4
I don't know if this was the official video or not but the song is just how I remember.
